  • Q1.What happens if I become a (free) subscriber?

    You will be able to read every story published by IJ in full, while non-subscribers will only have partial access.You will also receive our newsletters.
    IJ is planning on launching a paid subscriber plan as our contents expand.

  • Q2.How do I become a subscriber?

    Go to Subscribe Now page to register your name, e-mail address and password. You receive a confirmation e-mail. Click the given URL in the confirmation e-mail and complete your registration.

  • Q3.How can I check/confirm my registration?

    Click Sign in and go to My Page.

  • Q4.Why am I not receiving the confirmation e-mail?

    First, check if you typed your e-mail address correctly.
    Please also check your junk mail folder, especially if you use free mail such as gmail, yahoo and hotmail.
    If you use a cellar phone address, check if it’s set not to receive e-mails from desktop PC. In that case, set your cellular to receive e-mails from PC or use an e-mail address of your PC.
    If the confirmation e-mail still does not reach you, Contact us.

  • Q5.How can I change my registration information?

    Sign in and go to My Page and click Edit your profile at the bottom of the page.
    To change name or password, fill in the form with what you want to change, then click Renew.
    To change e-mail address, click Change e-mail address, type your new address in the form and click Send. You will receive a confirmation e-mail at your new address. Click the given URL in the confirmation e-mail and finish the registration of your new e-mail address.

  • Q6.Why am I not receiving newsletters?  How can I receive newsletters?

    Sign in and go to My Page. Click Edit your profile at the bottom. Make sure Receive under E-mail Newsletter Service is checked, and click Renew.
    The newsletters are sent irregularly so it could take a couple of weeks until you receive the next letter.

  • Q7.Can I stop receiving e-mail newsletters?

    Sign in and go to My Page.Click Edit your profile at the bottom.Make sure No thanks under E-mail Newsletter Service is checked, and click Renew.
    It takes time for the procedure to be updated. Please note that you might receive a newsletter or two after renewing your status.

  • Q8.I forgot my password.  What should I do?

    Sign in and click Forgotten password? Fill in your registered e-mail address in the form and click Send. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with a URL. Click the given URL and reset your password. You will see “Complete” when your request is accepted.
