As mentioned earlier, Soken Inc. published a magazine called "ESG 2018", as a special edition of "AL-IN" on September 28, 2018. This extra issue of "AL-IN" featured not only the present situation of ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) investment in the world and Japan, but also covered investment opportunities in stock, fixed income and alternative assets.

Although not so many pension funds have been keen on ESG investment yet, 31 asset management companies sponsored the "ESG 2018" magazine. According to "ESG 2018", asset managers have won clients mainly equity fund of ESG investment so far, but chances are not small for fund providers of other assets like green bond, private equity and infrastructure.

In addition, the magazine showed three ESG investment case studies from GPIF (Government Pension Investment Fund), Secom Corporate Pension Fund* and Sophia University.
